HondaThe newly-redesigned Civic, Honda's small sedan, features a winning combination of power, handling, technology and sophisticated style.

Challenge: Develop multiple stampings and assemblies for local production in Brazil, using high-strength materials on a very tight timeline, just 14 months from launch.

Solution: Tower applied its global expertise and resources, enabling our Brazilian engineers to collaborate with colleagues at Tower's European development center in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. Starting with a stamping simulation, German and Brazilian engineers worked together to develop processes for 109 stamped parts and 24 assemblies required for the new Civic in Brazil. Tower developed the components to Honda standards and began production in time to meet the launch schedule.

Products: Tower supplies the major portion of the Civic's structural content, including floor panels and A, B and C pillars.
